✏️ What you'll be doing:
Supporting the Head of Strategy in delivering annual roadmap goals and executing the department’s overarching vision.
Defining and articulating what social-first brand strategy looks like for group accounts, providing a clear path to achieve it and holding account teams accountable for delivering on this vision.
Establishing social-first brand strategy standards within the strategy department, implementing initiatives to enhance capabilities and efficiency. This includes exploring and piloting new tools or technologies that support these goals.
Building and nurturing senior-level relationships with priority clients (e.g., CMOs, Marketing Directors) to elevate Born Social’s visibility and unlock account growth opportunities.
Representing strategy within cross-agency groups, fostering collaborative relationships alongside client services.
Contributing to group-level thought leadership, positioning Born Social as brand strategists rather than social-only thinkers.
Driving revenue growth for the strategy department by retaining and increasing demand for strategy resources, ensuring accurate scoping, and applying appropriate rate cards across all clients.
Partnering with client services (Business Directors) to develop and execute account growth pipelines for strategy on relevant group accounts, expanding Born Social's remit within existing client portfolios.
Leading and supporting department Seniors and group Strategists, ensuring high performance and engagement levels.
Drive long-term retention by developing progression plans for key team members and fostering their growth within the department.
Overseeing resource management and scoping, ensuring accurate allocation of department time and resources.
Partnering with other Directors (e.g., Creative Director) to identify and implement initiatives that elevate Born Social’s lead-agency output, collaboratively setting and promoting agency standards.
👀 Who we're looking for:
Expertise in defining and implementing social-first strategies, leveraging tools and technologies to enhance strategic output, efficiency, and measurable results
Strong relationship-building skills, particularly with senior clients (e.g., CMOs, Marketing Directors) and cross-agency partners, with the ability to position the agency as a strategic leader
Skilled in driving revenue growth and collaborating with client services to expand opportunities, while ensuring accurate resource scoping and commercial success
Leadership experience with a track record of building high-performing, engaged teams by implementing growth plans and ensuring effective resource allocation
Strong planning, organisational, and collaborative abilities to support department vision, uphold agency standards, and deliver goals
Commercially savvy with a track record of managing budgets, resources, and revenue, combined with adaptability, proactivity, and excellent communication skills
