👋 Who we are
Born Social is a global social-first creative agency designed for the new era of advertising. Our client list includes household names like Guinness, Ford, New York Presbyterian, and Smirnoff.
We're powered by Croud, a leading performance marketing agency. As agencies we work closely to help brands see the value of bringing creative and performance together. As a result you’ll benefit from being part of the Croud Group, office and team.
Born is made up of an ambitious team of almost 200 people across the UK & US and not stopping there. We're growing fast, and looking to bring in our first Project Manager to the US team.
As Project Manager you'll be responsible for delivering our briefs on time and on budget. Taking the reigns on implementing effective ways of working across your accounts, crafting project plans and managing resource to deliver seamlessly.
It's a collaborative role that works closely with Client Services, Operations and all of our delivery team members. We're looking for someone who does what they say they'll do to build trusting relationships, as well as a great communicator who can make sure the team knows exactly what’s expected of them at all stages.
We use a tool called Productive that you'll spend most of your days in, building project plans, scheduling resource and reporting on progress - so previous experience in a similar tool would be beneficial.
✏️ What you'll be doing:
- Project Management: you'll lead the day-to-day operations of your clients including timelines and project plans, implementing ways of working and managing resource requirements
- Commercials: you'll proactively solve commercial & operational challenges, escalating to key stakeholders both internally and externally, when required, as well as sharing recommendations on how to solve these challenges
- Using Productive: you'll support with administration and management of Projects and Pipeline in our agency-management software (Productive), ensuring everything is set up accurately, managed efficiently and reported on regularly
- Reporting: you'll make sure timesheets are updated on time each week and report regularly on how we're burning down on budgets with recommendations for improvement
- Operations: you'll work with our central UK Operations team to ensuring the right skill set & experience is matched and allocated to each brief and scope of work, and help to schedule resource for the US team in Productive based on project plan
👀 Who we're looking for:
- You've got 3+ years of experience working in a similar role in an agency setting - ideally in social media delivery
- Brilliantly personable: communication is the lifeblood of our business. You love working with people and have a natural ability to handle challenges with charm
- Highly organised: social is fast, there’s a lot of content and a lot of deadlines so the ability to run a tight ship is a must
- Agile with an eye for detail: you'll be able to work at a fast pace and keep our systems up-to-date
- Pride in your work: we treat our client's brands as our own and are meticulous about our approach. You take real pride in what you deliver and always strive for perfection.
- Real drive and ambition: you are passionate and ambitious. You’re confident in your ability to adapt to the ever-changing world of social and a proactive self-starter with a mindset of growth and the drive to make it happen.
✌️ Our values:
Our values aim to pinpoint the magic ingredients for us at our best. We look for people who share our values and can add to our culture.
See Challenge as Opportunity... is about our attitude and to be very clear, this is not a value of optimism, nor is it about loving every challenge.
Say It Simply... is how we communicate. Think of the basic rules of communication - honest, clear, confident.
Do What You Say... is the crux of our reputation and longevity. When you join Born Social, our trust is fully given. It is yours to lose.
Make Each Other Better... is about our culture of collaboration and commitment to development. We are only as good as the people around us so we all take responsibility for developing each other, as well as ourselves.
Consciously Contribute...is bigger than all the others. It ensures we grow right. It broadens our focus beyond Born Social and cements our commitment to doing what’s just, not what’s easy or immediately self-serving.
