FREELANCE/CONTRACT PROJECT MANAGER (UK based)

LONDON, UK(Hybrid Working - 3 days in the office per week)

We’re looking to build a pool of experienced freelance / contract Project Managers (midweight–senior) to support a high volume of fast-paced, social-first work across a range of consumer brands, including those in home appliance, supermarket, automotive, and FMCG sectors.

This is a client-facing, delivery-led role with end-to-end ownership, sitting somewhere between a traditional Project Manager and a Senior Account Manager. You’ll be brought in to provide short-term support as needed, with contracts likely running until permanent hires are in place and onboarded. You’ll own projects from brief to delivery, bringing structure, momentum, and calm to busy teams.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• End-to-end project delivery across social-first and integrated campaigns

• Building playbooks, quarterly content plans, and managing social-first shoots

• Creating and maintaining timing plans

• Booking and managing resources in collaboration with Operations

• Briefing and debriefing internal teams

• Confident client communication and day-to-day troubleshooting

• Booking and leading meetings

• Managing budgets and commercials

• Anticipating risks, removing blockers, and guiding teams through ambiguity

• Creating a positive delivery environment that supports teams to do their best work

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• You'll have agency experience, ideally within social-first and/or integrated environments

• You'll have midweight → senior client facing project management experience 

• You'll understand the pace and mechanics of delivering full-service campaigns

• You're confident managing burn and scope to protect project profitability

• It would be great if you have experience working on influencer campaigns although this is not required

• You'll be a confident decision-maker who owns outcomes

• You'll be able to anticipate issues before they arise and keep work moving

• You're skilled at addressing client needs and concerns, both client-facing and internally

• It would be great if you have global and/or multi-market experience

*Producer backgrounds are welcome, but you'll need to be confident owning delivery and client communication end-to-end.
